Level Up Your Golf Game with the New Approach Line from Garmin

Garmin

Garmin is stepping up its game with new golf tech designed to help you improve your swing, track your progress, and stay on the course longer. The company just launched the Approach S50 smartwatch, Approach CT1 tracking tags, and the solar-powered Approach G20 handheld — all made to give golfers better insights and performance.

Garmin

Approach S50: More Than Just a Golf Watch
The Approach S50 is a lightweight GPS smartwatch that tracks not just your shots, but also your heart rate, sleep, stress, and fitness levels. It comes with preloaded workouts like strength training, yoga, and cardio — perfect for golfers who want to stay fit and avoid injuries.

You’ll also get a daily “Morning Report” that shows your sleep, readiness, and even the day’s weather. It includes Body Battery™ to help you know when you’re low on energy and when it’s a good time to play. There’s even women’s health tracking, plus a soft nylon strap for all-day comfort.

CT1 Tags: Smarter Shot Tracking
Pair the S50 with the new Approach CT1 tracking tags to automatically record your shots. These small, lightweight tags attach to your clubs and track distance and accuracy, helping you understand how far you usually hit each club. After your game, dive deeper into your stats through the Garmin Golf app.

Approach G20 Solar: Play Longer Without Charging
The new Approach G20 Solar is Garmin’s first solar-powered golf handheld. You can go up to 36 rounds without needing to recharge, even with minimal sunlight.

It has a 2.2-inch screen that’s easy to read in bright light, with larger text for quick yardage checks. It comes with over 43,000 preloaded courses and offers a top-down green view with manual pin placements. You can sync it with the Garmin Golf app for wind data and scorekeeping. With its magnet and clip, it’s easy to attach to your bag, belt, or cart — and it’s water-resistant too.
